Abstract modern landscape architecture

Abstract-Modernist landscape architecture appealed to designers much more than it appealed to their clients. In large part this was because people loved the symbols and stories which Modernist designers abjured. As shown in the rest of this video, they were, if sometimes charmed, often confused by the analytical approach and indeed by Abstract Art itself.
