I am an RHS Gold Medal award winning landscape designer with a special interest in creating beautiful and functional spaces that are also as biodiverse and sustainable as possible. I have worked on a wide range of projects including private gardens, community gardens, public areas, schools and community sites and even on an exciting project in Ladakh in the Indian Himalaya.

I studied to Masters level in Protected Area Management at the University of London and was then awarded a Masters degree with Commendation in Landscape Architecture at Greenwich University in 2006. After working for 2 years in a Landscape Architecture practice I worked for 3 years as the Expert Gardener for London Wildlife Trust. During this time I combined my passion for design and the environment with design and consultancy work across a range of campaigns and design projects including the design and build of two RHS Hampton Court show gardens. I was awarded a Gold Medal for the ‘Life Cycle Garden’ in 2009 and have since been awarded full Membership to The Chartered Institute of Horticulture. I am particularly interested in demonstrating through my design practice and teaching that creating beautiful, well designed and functional spaces for people is not incompatible with creating sustainable and biodiverse spaces for wildlife. Follow me on Facebook for an informal look at my day to day landscape interest and design work.
